Keeping this strict was hard. I was hoping to crush #165. In retrospect that's kinda silly concidering its 90% of my 1 rep max. But whatever. I got 5.5 reps out of 90% so I guess that's acceptable.
THE METCON ON THE OTHER HAND... WTF?
Strict 43 reps in 3 mins with 20 burpees as penalty.
Push press 65 reps with 15 burpees as penalty.
Push jerk 25 reps with 15 burpees as penalty.
My shoulders are hashed right now. As I'm sure is the goal. I'm dissapointed with my rep counts on all three rounds. I expected better. But, I'm also ok chalking this up to tuition and learning from it.
It still totals 133 shoulder presses in 18 mins, so ill just eat my post workout fruit and get on with the rest of my day.
